Nose
Intense, bright malt and the sweetness of dried fruit, led by chocolate, dried apricots, and dark sweet oriental pitted raisins. A shelf of dusty books; perfumes are also abundant. There’s a sharp alcoholic edge as well, with notes of lemon peel and chocolate.

Palate
Sherry, bright, juicy dark dried fruit, chocolate, leather, vanilla, and ginger. Confidently sharp in alcohol and spices, slightly dry, with plum notes. Rather sweet, but also bitter, with the acidity of grape tannins.
Well balanced and fairly smooth.
Sweetness: 8 out of 10.

Finish
Dry, sweet, and sour, with tannins and grape notes.
