Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in Brescia in 1976, from a young age she has shown a marked creative aptitude, which leads her to studies in the field of fashion and drawing. She attends the institute "ipsia Fortuny" of Brescia, obtaining the diploma of fashion designer and illustrator.
Subsequently, she does not continue in the fashion sector, but undertakes sports studies, which allow her to become international judge in pole sports and a sports instructor.
She teaches for several years at sports centers and dance schools:
Pole sport, aerial hoop, yoga, Caribbean dances, Oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most important, we recall:
First place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
Second place in Finland "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that silent love, which thanks to dance and sport she continually cultivates, delving specifically into artistic nude, portraiture, conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu’s photographic world is capable of astonishing and enchanting the spectator; her particular sensitivity and her powerful expressive sense reach a strong convergence between artistic photography and painting and sculptural art.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which travels emotions and personal introspection.
The human body becomes the vehicle for transporting the soul, expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
