Description from the seller
Alessandra Zorzato – Artist Biography
I am an artist from Vicenza with a cosmopolitan soul, currently based in Italy. My painting is the result of a profound journey, indelibly marked by the years I spent living in the United States; it was there, amidst the infinite skies of Arizona and the earthy landscapes of Santa Fe, that I rediscovered my creative urgency.
My language is Abstract Materic Art. I don’t just paint with color; I build the canvas using elements that provide depth and life, incorporating plaster, sand, fabrics, oil pastels, and natural fibers. These materials allow me to give physical form to the memories of the landscapes I have experienced.
My palette is a direct tribute to the colors of the American Southwest: turquoise, coral red, and deep earth tones are the vibrations that guide every piece. For me, painting means transforming the energy of a place into a tactile surface, creating "ready-to-hang" works that bring a fragment of the world and a spark of emotion to the viewer
