Description from the seller
- Work titled "Certified Hope Forever - 1884 Breitling"
- Number 01/30
- Signed/numbered piece by artist SKE delivered with certificate of authenticity.
With Certified Hope Forever – 1884, SKE offers a hybrid work, at the border between iconic watchmaking and contemporary urban art.
Inspired by the emblematic codes of the Swiss maison Breitling (founded in 1884), this piece deftly inverts the aesthetic of professional dials to incorporate a universal symbol: the silhouette of a little girl with a balloon, directly inspired by Banksy’s universe.
The visual and conceptual contrast is immediate.
Precision, robustness, and horological prestige meet poetry, fragility, and hope.
The red balloon, signature element, draws the eye and creates a strong emotional tension at the heart of the composition. It becomes the balance point between technical rigor and artistic expression, fully embodying the ADN of the Certified Hope Forever series.
Designed as a true collector’s piece, this work is not limited to its aesthetics. It is also perfectly functional, equipped with a reliable, silent quartz mechanism, suitable for everyday use.
The indices and hands feature a luminous effect, ensuring a clear read of the time even in the dark. The piece thus reveals a second dimension at night, reinforcing its immersive character and visual impact.

SKE asserts his approach here: to détour the codes of luxury by injecting them with an emotional, accessible, universal dimension.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-around creator who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring most of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double readings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen remarkably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was named “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October, and has also appeared in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Well-Regarded & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work fits into a prestigious lineage. His line bears the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to détourner the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar sign sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: sneakers (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin) appear. He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision horology (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy sheen or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
