Urs Pfannenmüller (born 1943), Untitled, acrylic painting, original edition, produced in the 1990s, 105 x 85 cm, hand-signed, country of origin Switzerland, in good condition.
Description from the seller
The dimensions of the work are 105 x 85 cm.
The work is in good condition.
Visual artist Urs Pfannenmüller, born in 1943 in Basel, Switzerland, has undertaken several studies: in 1968 he studied at the Mahlkasse in Basel, in 1970 at the Vrije Academie in The Hague, and in 1971 he attended a program at St. Martin's School of Art in London. After completing his studies, he decided to live and work in The Hague because of the attractive art climate.
He has worked in different styles, both abstract and figurative-expressionist. A subject that fascinates him and recurs in his work is the contrast between nature and artificiality. Thus, he has recently created paintings that depict the changing relationship between humans and nature. Objects, seemingly emerging from rubbish, drift randomly through space or artificial landscapes. The objects resemble skeletons or faces and have lost their original meaning.
In 1990 Pfannenmüller began creating spatial works. Creations that stand outside and can be admired by everyone include 'Fiets & Stal' in The Hague.
Viewings are of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the professional association 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
