XTC’s mixed‑media sculpture Mc Caviar Tiffany in Bois, Verre and Plastique, signed by hand, 25 cm high, 18 cm wide and 18 cm deep, created in France in 2026 as edition 12/15 with COA provided.
Description from the seller
Mc Caviar x Tiffany cone with a mother-of-pearl spoon by XTC.
A détournement of a McDonald’s cone, the crossing of luxury and mass consumption.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC, except the genuine mother-of-pearl spoon.
The glass dome is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered below out of 15; Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The piece in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent.
Careful packing and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that was meant to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught plasticien artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and also caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
