For sale is a classic, handcrafted ship in a bottle of a substantial size, approximately 31 cm in length and about 9 cm in diameter. It is a delicately worked sailing ship (three-masted), mounted in a period-appropriate blue seabed (sea surface).
Origin & Provenance:
The model is a special collectible for maritime antique enthusiasts and the island of Sylt. It was acquired in the 1970s/1980s at the renowned shop for maritime decorations, Alfred B. J. Dullin, in Westerland/Sylt (formerly in the new Kurzentrum, Andreas-Dirks-Straße 8).
The original retailer sticker on the underside is fully preserved and documents the authentic origin from this traditional Sylter house.
