In perfect condition, bought in 2002 through a gallery in Rotterdam (Thyade), and has always hung in the living room in the “old” house.

Being sold due to a move, and too many artworks that no longer have a place in the home, and would otherwise just sit in a cabinet.

Hermanus "Herman" Brood (Dutch pronunciation November 5, 1946 – July 11, 2001) was a Dutch musician, painter, actor and poet. As a musician he achieved artistic and commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s and was called "the greatest and only Dutch rock-'n'-roll star." Later in life he began a successful career as a painter.

After his musical career, Brood turned to painting and became a well-known figure in Amsterdam art circles. His art is best described as pop art, often very colorful and graffiti-inspired silkscreens, and he achieved commercial success and fame, for example by creating murals in various public spaces in and around Amsterdam.
