Description from the seller
Sweet Feast is a still life made in the studio of photographer Ursula van de Bunte. It concerns a print on high-quality Hahnemuhle Baryta paper and the image is protected with Renaissance wax. The size of the photograph is 20x20 cm and it is the first edition of 20.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are detached from utility and use and appear as pure forms: still, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the sober composition and the attention to skin, scale, glass and ceramics, a still world arises in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is shown in museums, galleries and at art fairs.
