The Watcher at the Lakeshore is a 40 × 40 cm hand-signed limited-edition giclée on canvas by French artist Le Yack, created in 2026, sold directly from the artist in France, edition of 20 with a certificate of authenticity and ready to be framed.
Description from the seller
A man in ochre mantle, round hat, stands still between two aspen trees with autumn leaves. In front of him, an intensely blue lake, almost unreal. In the distance, a tiny white sailboat. Above, a single white cloud, huge and solitary, rises in a sky of pure cobalt.
It is the archetypal image of contemplation — the man with his back to the infinite, in the tradition of Caspar David Friedrich. But Le Yack outfits it with a palette that belongs only to him: the orange of the autumn aspens against the absolute blue of the lake and sky creates a chromatic harmony of almost musical intensity. His face is not visible. We don’t need it.
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours.
