Sitting on a starting block, a swimmer gazes at the pool before her. The number becomes a simple landmark in an almost empty space, where time seems to slow down. The work evokes concentration, waiting, and the thoughts that precede action.
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is showcased in a network of around forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
