Description from the seller
"Treasures No 2" is a part of the series: The Goldzuuker. Various small vases and objects found in the IJssel River and photographed. It is a beautiful print on Canson Fibre Rag, mounted on 2mm PVC. The size is 60x80.
This is the second edition of 12 copies.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, ordinary objects take on a new role. They are detached from utility and use and appear as pure forms: still, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the austere composition, and the focus on skin, surface, glass and ceramic, a hushed world emerges in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic town of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at art fairs.
