Alberto Ricci (Rome 1943- Rome 2003). He is an Italian artist who has won numerous awards. He has created several monuments in Italy and abroad. Notable mentions include the busts of John Paul II and Paul VI in the Vatican.
In his sculptures he explores the relationship between man and the universe, the senses as ancestral archetypes of our origins, and the passing of time and human history.
His works are found all over the world.
Ricci is the father of the “Energetic Essentialism.”
Critic B. Bernardi says: “There is a curious and attractive transparency in Ricci's work, but this is only a perception and a superficial feeling in reality and in action. What is presented is the energy that exists in the potential state of the work itself.”
