A work particularly dear to the artist as it recalls his homeland (Libya) with its deserts and starry skies.

The addition of sand, in the lower part, makes it unique of its kind.

Signed and hand-numbered by the artist, it bears the dry stamp of Mario Schifano's signature at the bottom right.
