Description from the seller
I offer a beautiful artwork by the Turkish artist Filiz Hatipoglu, created in 2011 for the Italy-Turkey exhibition in Lecce and published in the catalog that will be shipped together with the artwork and all the documentation.
This work is a vivid fusion of abstract forms and dynamic brushstrokes. Dominated by an electric blue background, the piece features wide black curves sweeping across the canvas, suggesting movement and fluidity. Scattered here and there are hints of earthy browns and soft greens, adding depth and contrast. The presence of geometric shapes, like circles and intersecting lines in red and gray, introduces a sense of structure amid the chaos. Spashes of yellow and soft white clouds lend the painting an ethereal quality. The use of layered textures and transparent glazes creates a sense of depth, inviting the viewer to explore its numerous layers. This composition captures a harmonious mix of spontaneity and deliberate design, making it a fascinating study of abstract expressionism.
Filiz Hatipoglu was born in 1964 in Kastamonu, lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2010 she earned a Master in Plastic Arts at the Institute of Social Sciences of Yeditepe University. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, symposia, and projects, mainly in Turkey but also abroad.
