Sculpture by D.B titled Escultura Apego No reserve, made of iron, in an abstract style, hand signed, finished in red, with dimensions 55 × 33 × 20 cm, and origin Spain.
Description from the seller
Apego is a contemporary abstract sculpture that symbolizes the need to belong. In life, every small element seeks something larger to join, finding meaning within a whole.
Composed of geometric cubic forms connected in a dynamic vertical structure, the work reflects the relationship between individuality and dependence. Each module seems autonomous, but it only achieves stability by being part of the whole.
Made of metal with a matte black finish and presented on a solid base, Apego conveys balance, tension, and growth.
A contemporary piece with a strong conceptual and architectural presence.
This unique sculpture forms part of the continuity of previous works, but possesses its own character. The composition has been enriched with additional elements and a new structural order that generates a distinct sense of movement, balance, and dynamism.
Compared to previous works, it shows variations in size and the arrangement of its components, subtly transforming its overall structure. Each piece is unrepeatable and reflects an evolution within the same creative line.

My work focuses on creating unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional objects, with an emphasis on materiality, structure, and the durability of the work. I develop sculptural furniture in concrete and iron, combining function and sculptural form, with a clear Brutalist influence. My work centers on geometry, structure, and materiality, creating pieces that explore balance, repetition, and visual presence in space.
