Description from the seller
Ad Snijders (1929 – 2010) was an Eindhoven-based artist, draftsman, collagist, and sculptor. He began drawing at the age of twelve, and he basically never stopped. His style can best be described as expressionist, figurative art.
Both Snijders’ themes and his way of working aligned with events of the time periods in which he worked. As such, his work was always topical.
His work has been exhibited since 1957 in leading galleries and museums both at home and abroad. For example, his work was shown at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and several times at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven.
Dimensions with frame: 99 x 77 cm
Dimensions without frame: 65 x 50 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also work with restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this service, please let us know.
