Description from the seller

Good condition.
Size: 20.5cm x 13.3cm x 7.5cm (length, width, height)

Description:
This Noh mask presents a youthful face with a warm orange-red complexion and a calm, slightly smiling expression. The eyes are narrow and elongated, with painted black pupils and white highlights that give the face a quiet, watchful presence. The mouth is gently opened, showing finely painted teeth, while a small mark on the chin adds character to the expression.
The hairline is carefully painted with fine dark strokes, creating the appearance of short, straight hair across the forehead. The eyebrows are thin and delicately arched, and the smooth rounded cheeks give the mask a gentle, almost childlike quality. Purple tying cords are attached at both sides, suggesting it was made to be worn or displayed in the traditional manner.
The mask has a restrained and expressive beauty typical of Japanese Noh theatre masks. Its subtle smile and ambiguous gaze allow the expression to change depending on the viewing angle and light, making it a refined decorative piece as well as an object connected to traditional performing arts.
