The first image shows the transition of the work from the exterior wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, completely changing environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall corner is selected and cut out—the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from its original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, buildings, museums, or other structures. Thus the artwork changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.
