Description from the seller

This work has been selected for an exhibition in Spain in February, so the buyer would need to loan it for that occasion.

Antonio Valenzuela

In this collection he offers a series of realistic paintings inspired by everyday objects worn out by time. With this work, he seeks to highlight the hidden beauty of these objects destined to be discarded. Combining his realistic approach with a touch of pop aesthetics, inviting us to reconsider our perception of beauty in the everyday. All pieces are unique

Antonio Valenzuela
Andalusian illustrator, born in Córdoba (Spain) in 1981. In recent years he has lived and worked in Málaga as an independent artist. He is known for his realistic illustrations of everyday objects, worn by time. He studied at the Mateo Inurria Art School, Córdoba. He has a design degree from the Pedro Almodóvar School, Ciudad Real. His first works focused on the world of fashion, working as an illustrator for national and international brands of notable relevance such as Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Mango, El Corte Inglés, Springfield Federation Clothing, Celio, Primark. After several years living and working in Barcelona and Madrid, he decided to return to Andalusia, where he found true inspiration for his art. At this time he perfected his technique, moving from black-and-white pencil to watercolor and gouache and acrylic, where he gave more importance to realism and color. In 2020 he began to collaborate with Dolce&Gabbana on the Fatto a mano project as a garment artisan painter. In 2021 he collaborates in the Le Monde Diplomatique collection of Casablanca Paris as a hand illustrator in the Orbite Autour De L'Orange line. From his studio in Málaga he combines fashion illustration work with other projects as an independent artist in the recording industry, editorials, film posters and product design. His latest collaboration has been with the well-known graffiti artist @Belin, exhibiting his Destructive Beauty collection at the Rampa Pro artistic space. Destructive Beauty will also be in the Centro de Arte of Benalmádena in 2025 in Málaga, Andalucía. He is currently collaborating as an illustrator in different fashion projects in the luxury sector such as Homiés Marbella, Jazmín Chebar from Argentina and with the Moroccan designer Nadia Zein, with whom he is preparing a collection of illustrated silk scarves.
