Artist biography
Born in Lisbon (1983), Nuno Barbedo (also known as THECAVER) is a multidisciplinary artist who began his career with traditional illegal graffiti in 1998. The streets remain his preferred working space, however the artist has held solo exhibitions in galleries and public spaces around the world.
Recognizable from afar, his work can be seen as a harmonious yet complex composition of simple, colorful, bold shapes, often with an enigmatic theme and a surrealist approach.
Nuno has shown great versatility over the years, always maintaining his unique style, proving that he is constantly evolving.
