The nature of the technique I use makes each piece of the series a unique, unrepeatable work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted at three quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this piece a vindication of the Self against the vicissitudes of existence, but also an innate longing upwards. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form to the summit is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
