Description from the seller
Maurizio Galimberti is an artist born in Italy in 1956. He has established himself in the Italian and international art scene thanks to his mosaic compositions, works in which the subject — whether a person or a portion of a city — is deconstructed into numerous shots, often corresponding to different perspectives, and reassembled into an eclectic image.
Composition realized with Fuji Instax instant photography, hand-signed by the artist and mounted on cardboard with direct intervention.
The work belongs to Galimberti’s contemporary “readymade” production, in which instant photography is reworked and inserted into a new visual composition.
Subject: Marilyn, an absolute icon and among the most sought after in the artist’s market.
Hand-signed both on the Instax photograph and on the support.
