This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter F is transformed into a tribute to Frida Kahlo, reinterpreting her intimate, symbolic universe deeply connected to nature and identity. The typography becomes an organic space where vegetation blooms abundantly, evoking the natural settings present in many of her works.

The interior of the letter is composed of dense leaves and delicate flowers in pink tones, creating a vivid and emotional atmosphere. These plant elements not only decorate, but build a visual narrative related to fertility, growth, and introspection, recurring themes in Kahlo’s imaginary.

The presence of a perched bird introduces a nuance of serenity and connection with nature, while the skull at the base directly recalls Mexican iconography of the Day of the Dead, a symbol of life, death, and memory, deeply rooted in the culture that shaped the artist’s work.

The contrast between the geometric structure of the letter and the organic elements inside reinforces the duality between the built and the emotional, the external and the internal, a constant in Frida Kahlo’s visual narrative.

The work has been created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), handcrafted with particular attention to botanical detail, composition, and lighting, achieving a rich, immersive, and highly symbolic aesthetic.
