Description from the seller
Maurizio Galimberti is an artist born in Italy in 1956, he established himself in the Italian and international artistic scene thanks to mosaic compositions, works in which the subject—whether it is a person or a portion of a city—is broken down into numerous shots, often corresponding to different perspectives, and recomposed into an eclectic image.
Composition realized with Fuji Instax instant photography, hand-signed by the artist and applied to cardboard with direct intervention.
The work belongs to Galimberti's contemporary "readymade" production, in which instant photography is reworked and inserted into a new visual composition.
Subject: Marilyn, an absolute icon and among the most sought after in the artist's market.
Hand-signed both on the Instax photograph and on the support and stamped.
