The Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 is not only a technical milestone as one of the world’s first automatic chronograph (introduced in 1969), but also a cultural icon immortalized on the wrist of Steve McQueen in the legendary film Le Mans (1971). Inspired by Formula 1 driver Jo Siffert—who wore Heuer on the racetrack, also close friend and mentor for movie of McQueen —McQueen chose the Monaco to complete his “King of Cool” image, pairing it with the Gulf racing suit. Unfortunately Jo Siffert died in a car accident in World championship victory race, few months after the movie published

With its bold square case, left-side crown, striking blue dial with contrasting white subdials and hidder micro rotor, the Monaco Calibre 11 broke conventions in watchmaking and became a symbol of avant-garde design. Today, it remains one of the most collectible chronographs, cherished by enthusiasts for its racing heritage and cinematic legacy.
This piece embodies both innovation and history, making it a must-have for collectors seeking a watch that represents speed, style, and timeless cool.

40mm without crown, 13.6mm thickness and 116 grams

Original steel strap is in great condition and will fit up to 23cm wrist
