Description from the seller
George Heidweiller is a Dutch artist known for his dynamic, layered, and experimental visual language in which pop culture, street art and graphic structures come together. Born in 1963 in The Hague, Heidweiller developed from the eighties into a distinctive voice within contemporary Dutch art, influenced by urban art, music culture and the energy of international metropolises.
This work by George Heidweiller shows a powerful, layered collage in which a black silhouette of a figure is central. Around this stylized form, Heidweiller blends fragments of Eastern print art, typography, abstract patterns and expressive red and black paint textures. The work has a dynamic, urban atmosphere that references pop art, street art and contemporary visual culture. The result is an energetic composition full of contrast, rhythm and visual tension — a typical example of Heidweiller's urban and experimental style.
Dimensions of the work with frame: 78 x 78 cm
Dimensions of the work without frame: 50 x 50 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
