This work is part of The Artphabet, an art project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in contemporary art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter J is transformed into a tribute to Jeff Koons, reinterpreting his iconic sculptural language based on polished surfaces, industrial materials and references to the popular imaginary. The typography takes on the appearance of an inflatable object, evoking his famous balloon sculptures reinterpreted at a large scale.

The form features a glossy, reflective finish, simulating a lacquered metal material that captures and distorts light, generating a sense of luxury, lightness and technical perfection. The inclusion of a distinctive knot reinforces the direct reference to Koons’ universe, where the banal and the festive are elevated to the category of art.

The composition rests on a minimalist base that enhances its character as an exhibition object, placing the piece in a context between contemporary sculpture and high-end design. The formal simplicity contrasts with the material complexity, creating a visually striking and recognizable work.

The work was created through a fully digital 3D process (CGI), modeled in an artisanal way with special attention to curvature, surface tension and the behavior of light on reflective materials, achieving a hyperreal aesthetic of high precision.
