High-quality solid-wood Ranger half-hull boat.
Frame dimensions: 40 cm x 12 cm.
Ranger is a Class J monohull, built for American magnate Harold Stirling Vanderbilt. It was the last of this class to be laid down to participate in the America's Cup.
Its designers were Starling Burgess and Olin Stephens, and it was built in riveted steel at Bath Iron Works shipyards in Maine, United States.
