Jean-Pierre Le Bras (1931-2017) - Untitled

Jean-Pierre Le Bras, born February 5, 1931, in Pleumeur-Bodou and who died on July 23, 2017, in Lannion. He is a French painter with a passion for Brittany. Figuratively, he stays outside the currents and fashions. He says: “Everyone has their own writing style. I paint as I know, without worrying about passing fashions, and painting has allowed me to stay in the countryside.” In 1991 he received the gold medal of the Salon de la Marine and in 1997 he was appointed as an honorary “Painter of the Navy.”
