Laurent Anastay Ponsolle - Le serpent à plumes

A young artist shown at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with force and spontaneity.

This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights of oil pastels. Taken as a whole, it presents a very “raw,” “visceral,” and “sensitive” ensemble, qualities typical of German figurative expressionism, a current with which the artist fully identifies himself.

The work will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, quick and careful sending. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist will also be sent by email.
