Description from the seller
“Pulso Interior 2” (2026), is a unique oil painting by artist Alejandro Faura belonging to the series “Donde nada el silencio”— the work articulates a contained tension between stability and instability through the figure of a standing boy, with a gaze slightly raised, whose introspective attitude seems to sustain an inner state more than an external action, while around him red fish traverse the space in horizontal lines, hinting at a constant flow that contrasts with the figure’s stillness; here the balance is neither symmetric nor static, but a silent negotiation between opposing forces — movement and pause, impulse and containment — resolved in the firm presence of the boy as the compositional axis, placed centrally and anchoring the image against an open and atmospheric background; technically, the work is built using a reduced palette where dirty whites, grayish greens and light orange nuances generate a diffused field worked with loose brushstrokes, scrapes and transparencies, upon which intense reds erupt, applied with greater material heft, especially in the figure and in the fish, establishing a visual rhythm that guides the gaze from left to right; the brushwork on the face is more contained and modeled, seeking volumetric precision and expressive concentration, while in the surroundings it becomes more gestural and fragmented, leaving traces of the painting process that reinforce the sense of immediacy; the light, soft and enveloping, lacks a defined source but subtly concentrates on the face, consolidating the emotional focus, and the space, without concrete references, presents itself as a suspended plane where the figurative coexists with the abstract, making the pictorial matter not only describe but also suggest a state of balance. This painting is a unique piece that forms part of a work-in-progress series; it is an oil on canvas signed and with a certificate of authenticity, in excellent condition, its shipment will be within a tube and insured.
