This work, executed in oil on canvas, stands out for its powerful use of impasto, where the physical texture adds a tactile and volumetric dimension to the composition. The artist employs a palette of primary, saturated colors to create a dramatic contrast against the dark background, making the face emerge with an almost ethereal luminosity. Through energetic brushstrokes and strategic use of the palette knife, the boundaries between the human figure and the botanical elements blur, suggesting a symbiosis between identity and the natural world. The painter seeks to convey an emotional metamorphosis, where the beauty of the flora acts as a shield or an extension of the psyche, inviting the viewer to reflect on the fertility of ideas and the harmony between fragility and strength.
