Le Yack paints here the tension between luxury and effort, between the sweetness of a Californian Sunday and the rigor of the athletic gesture. The red of the suit and cap contrasts with the blue of the pool and the sky with the precision of a signal. It is a painting about concentration — that moment when everyone around has disappeared.

Le Yack, a French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. Former art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is represented in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
