Marco Corridoni's original, unique mixed‑media artwork FIXED Fontana - no. 14 / 100 (2026), a 40×30 cm canvas combining fabric, leather and metal with blue colour, signed by hand and in excellent condition, from an edition of 100 numbered works sold directly by the artist from Italy.
Description from the seller
FIXED Fontana - no. 14 /100 (2026)
Oil painting on canvas, leather, metal
30x40cm
UNIQUE and ORIGINAL WORK
Piece number 14 of a limited edition series of only 100 copies.
Special edition of the series "Fixed Fontana".
The artist takes inspiration from Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite the history of art, through a manipulation of his artistic poetics, suspended between quotation and desacralization.
The cuts are re-stitched, in a symbolic way, to shorten space rather than to "open" it.
Expectations are thwarted, almost as a sign of protest against a way of making and selling art that has little or nothing to do with originality and the essence of art itself.
The canvases are prepared in the Fontana manner and the cuts, strictly made by hand by the artist, mimic those of the most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black canvas on the back, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and an exquisite aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certification included
Framing available separately.
