José Lodeiro’s Vientre Habitado is a limited edition contemporary intaglio print (grabado) from the 1950s–1960s, depicting the maternal womb with the Ría de Vigo in the background, 46 cm high by 34 cm wide, framed with an original period frame, signed by hand, edition PA, from Spain, weighing about 2 kg and in good condition.
Description from the seller
- Original work by José Lodeiro, authentic piece from his workshop of the “old school.” It is one of his early works (1950s-1960s), with his characteristic red-toned geometry representing the maternal belly with the Vigo estuary in the background.
- The piece is in exceptional condition, maintaining the patina of time that certifies its era, with no breaks or damage. It is completely original:
- Signature: Signed in pencil by José Lodeiro himself.
- Back: Retains the original period protective paper, never opened or manipulated.
- Fastening: Keeps the original sailor cord on both sides, as it was mounted in old times.
- Frame: Original period frame included.
- Dimensions: 46 cm (height) x 34.5 cm (width) x 2 cm (thickness).
- Shipping: Professional, reinforced, and protected packaging to ensure the artwork and its glass arrive intact.
