Alexander van Noort was born in the Netherlands in 1953. His father was the artist Adriaen Cornelis van Noort. He is famous for painting seascapes and bulb fields and was also known as the last painter of the Hague School. A.F. van Noort was taught by his father and is known for his impressionist style. They worked and exhibited together as well.
