Description from the seller
The artist Giuliano Grittini (Corbetta, 1951) is an Italian photographer, art printer, and visual artist known for having invented the technique of “Cracker Art.” This special technique involves the use of precious materials (such as gold and silver leaf) and the artist’s direct manual interventions on prints or photographs. The image is “crumpled” or decomposed and then reassembled, often with the addition of writings, glitter, and varnish, making each piece unique, unlike the serial productions typical of pop art. In this artwork he depicts one of the most beloved comics, Diabolik, entitled “La Lunga Fuga,” with a mixed technique that incorporates photographic elements, text, and an aged appearance—“cracker art”—that simulates a torn poster or a collage on paper. Signed at the bottom. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped with affiliated couriers. For this lot, shipping outside the European Community is not available."} } } } /* Note: Extra closing braces were added accidentally in a previous format. Corrected version below */}{
