MESA TROPICAL is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this work, the ordinary is transformed into a scene of almost fantastical exuberance. A simple table with bananas and fruits becomes, under the unexpected presence of a large toucan, a small tropical altar where color, vegetation, and domestic objects live together with absolute freedom. The painting plays with that boundary between interior and imagined jungle, between still life and exotic tale.
