Lovely cat painting of a kitten, painted with loose brushstrokes by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono series,” inspired by the work of G. H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, sometimes in combination with personal elements (cat, painting supplies and figures and animals) form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brush stroke, and she alternates between detailed and imaginative works and loose, sketchy paintings.
