About
Marino Marini (1901–1980) was one of the most important Italian artists of the 20th century. He became famous primarily for his expressive representations of riders and horses (“Cavallo e Cavaliere”), which are icons of modern sculpture.
In addition to his sculpture, Marini created an extensive graphic oeuvre characterized by a reduced formal language and strong expressiveness. His works are today represented in international museums and are in high demand on the art market.
