Title: "Impact"
Description:
It feels like the moment when something unstoppable arrives—suddenly, raw, without warning. The black paint splashes across the surface, as if energy had discharged that had been held back far too long. Nothing about it is careful or planned. It is direct, honest, almost merciless.
And yet there is more to it than destruction. In this single moment there is also clarity—like a point where everything decides and afterward nothing is quite the same as before. Perhaps it is an external impact. Perhaps an internal one. Something that strikes, trembles, and leaves traces. And it is precisely these traces that tell the real story.

The canvas is delivered rolled.
Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, created mainly with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by their minimalist, abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art he often engages with themes such as identity, memory and the exploration of human emotions, frequently pushing the boundaries between the visible and the invisible.
Prein’s approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This unique style has earned him recognition both in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America and Asia. His works often invite the viewer to contemplate the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting measuring 210 x 120 cm, you need a canvas stretcher of size 200 x 110 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on a multi-times white-primed gallery canvas.
Additionally, a varnish was applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and therefore unique!
--- Authenticity certificate included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, practice, or office and elevate your spaces in an elegant and stylish way.
If a person ventures into their innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that is mysteriously and hiddenly waiting to be discovered, tickled awake, and also painfully brought to the surface, then art is born.
