Fern is the pseudonym used by the sculptor Clavo and the sculptor Carmen Lop when they work together.
Both sculptors work with metal forging, mainly iron and steel.
The techniques they mainly use are forging and welding.
Their styles range from figurative to abstract, including pop art.
They attach great importance to technique and artisanal craftsmanship to create a good sculpture.
They have participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, especially nationally.
They have received separate awards, notably the "Urban Sculpture Prize City of Ávila" in 2006 and the "Memorial to Victims of Machismo Violence" in Zaragoza 2016.
They admire Spanish sculptors such as Martín Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida, or Julio González.
