Bruno Cantais, a professional painter based in Lyon, is registered and contributing to the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from Rauschenberg's abstract expressionism, to material projections, to Pop Art collage, or to expressionism.
He delves into the surface of the canvas, carving grooves that seem to open paths or sometimes get lost in the fogs of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, feeling and perception, shadow and light, emptiness and fullness.
