Rare Guitare Vintage EKO 500 V2 (1960s) - Made in Italy
Description :
I am putting up for sale this magnificent Eko 500 V2 from the era, a true emblem of 1960s Italian design. This instrument stands out for its retro-futuristic look and exceptional finishes.
Finish : Gorgeous gold "Sparkle" finish on the top and glittery blue on the back.
Pickguard : Original striated celluloid with raised Eko logo.
Switches : Push-button system typical of the brand (inspired by accordions).
Provenance : Original label "Couesnon Luthier à Mirecourt" on the headstock, evidencing its import history in France.
Manufacture : "Made in Italy" engraved on the back of the headstock.
Condition of the instrument :
Appearance : Superb condition for its age. The varnish and the glitter have retained their shine.
Lutherie : The neck is straight, the frets are in good condition, and the instrument is very pleasant to play.
Electronics : Note that the bridge pickup requires a quick servicing (output/contact issue). The neck pickup and the switching system work perfectly.
This is a rare opportunity for a collector or a vintage surf rock / garage sound enthusiast seeking an instrument with a strong personality."}
