The fountain pen is presented in very good condition, showing a generally clean and well-cared-for appearance that reflects moderate and respectful use over time.

The metallic body and cap with a fluted finish in palladium retain a uniform and elegant shine, with the longitudinal texture perfectly defined. There are light micro-scratches from normal handling, but no dents, burrs, or relevant wear. The overall presentation remains aesthetically very attractive.

The black resin section is in excellent condition, with a shiny surface and no cracks or deformations. The threads and cap fit function correctly, offering a firm and secure closure.

The Sheaffer clip with the emblematic White Dot presents straight and well-aligned, maintaining proper tension and functionality.

The integrated nib (Inlaid) made of solid 18K gold, one of Sheaffer's most iconic features, is in very good structural condition, correctly aligned and without deformations. It preserves its sharp engravings and offers an immaculate aesthetic.

The filling system operates with Sheaffer cartridges or a converter, and this piece is sold with its converter, allowing the use of bottled ink with complete ease. The mechanism has been inspected and works correctly.

The pen has been tested and prepared for use, guaranteeing proper operation.

Conservation recommendations

To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented or highly saturated inks. If it will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to clean it with warm water, dry it properly before storage, and keep it in a dry place, protected from direct light and extreme temperatures. When operating the filling system, it is recommended to do so gently to preserve the internal mechanism.
