The body in black precious resin maintains a deep, uniform shine, with no color loss or discoloration. At a glance there are no cracks, fissures, or structural defects. Very mild signs of use can be observed, typical of careful use, which do not affect its presence or functionality at all.

The metallic elements with a platinum finish — including the clip, central band, and grip area — are in excellent condition, with uniform shine and no significant wear. No plating losses or relevant dents are observed, maintaining an elegant and well-preserved appearance.

The clip is firm, correctly aligned, and functional, with the Montblanc engraving clearly defined.

The upper transparent dome presents good transparency, allowing a clear view of the floating Montblanc emblem. No cracks or relevant opacities are detected, only possible minimal superficial marks derived from use.

The turning mechanism operates smoothly and precisely, responding correctly, which indicates a good mechanical condition of the whole.

Overall, it is a well-maintained piece, with very moderate signs of use and fully in line with a high-end pen that has been used with care.

Conservation recommendations:
To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use original Montblanc refills, avoid impacts or drops, occasionally clean with a soft cloth to preserve the resin’s shine and the metal finishes, and store it in a dry place, away from direct light and extreme temperatures.
