Mimmo Paladino (1948) - Sans Titre

Mimmo Paladino, an Italian artist born in 1948, is a historic leader of Transavanguardia. An important international artistic movement, born in the 1980s of the twentieth century and theorized by Achille Bonito Oliva.

In this work there is a narrative in blue tint that unfolds over two temporal planes: in the upper half a sailing ship rises and sails toward the future, while in the lower half there is a look to the past with cave paintings.
