Pratt, Hugo - 1 Silkscreen - Corto Maltese - Tango - 1986

70x70 format, screen-printed on fine art paper.
The 12 screenprints of "Tango" were commissioned from Hugo Pratt and produced for Editori del Grifo, between the end of 1985 and the beginning of 1986, on the occasion of his solo show at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Pratt oversaw the work with a screen-printer in Rome, and all signatures were affixed by Pratt himself in the presence of the publisher.
The edition consists of 250 copies in Arabic numerals and 50 in Roman numerals; about twenty copies printed as a reserve are artist's proofs (P.A.).
The copy for sale is indeed part of the P.A. edition.
