Otsu-e are hand-painted prints from the city of Ōtsu in Japan, popular since the Edo period (1603–1868). They were often sold to travelers as souvenirs or used as talismans. The prints usually depict popular themes such as gods, demons, animals or everyday scenes, often with humorous or moralizing elements.

The woodblock print is in good condition with light age spots and a crease in the middle. (See photo)
